In 2015 we introduced and fully support a new web-based Budget Planning Software (BPS) for maintained schools and academies. This is used by all the schools we support and is proving to be a valuable tool in producing budgets, 3 year planning, pay reconciliations, automated maternity calculations and an automated outturn process. - Setup with the Local Authority employment contracts and superannuation rates; as well as the correct funding sections used by the Local Authority;
- Calculates the cost of the school's employees extremely accurately and provides the school with a 3-5 year position on the cost of their staff;
- Smooth transition from one financial year to the next and eliminates the stop/start process involved with Excel budget planners provided through the Local Authority;
- Easy to process budget forecasts and outturn reports at summary, cost centre or ledger code level;
- Monitors departmental budgets if these have been specified;
- Contains a pay reconciliation that links to employees ensuring accuracy and checking employee pay monthly;
- Calculates the full impact of maternity pay;
- Funding projections can be developed based on pupil numbers and early years hours;
