Schools Finance Support offer a Bursar service tailored to meet your needs.

This can be for a one-off occasion or for longer periods to suit you. This can be to cover:

• Long term sick
• Maternity leave
• Vacancy or Interim cover
• Periodic finance support

The advantages of using our Bursar service are:

• No employer responsibility;
• No additional staff costs, eg Employer’s NI, pension, training;
• Short-term contracts available – think of us your ‘Bursar temping agency’, providing cover at short notice in situations when it wouldn’t be feasible to recruit your staff;
• Hours tailored to suit your needs – whether it’s a day or two a week or just 3 hours a month, we’re here to support you;
• Flexible to your requirements – if you need to scale up or down to cover a specific piece of work or staff absence we can support you; and
• Tailored solutions to meet your requirements – if these fall outside the usual Bursar role, we will discuss this with you to create a bespoke solution
